So this is a very exciting day! Our first ever apartment blog has been created!! I hope you were sitting down when you read that...I should have warned you first! Well this is where we'll be sharing our thoughts, experiences, hopes, and dreams...and maybe a few funny quips. I know what you're asking..."you guys have been talking about doing an apt blog forever. What finally made you do it?" What a great question! My answer will be explained in a brief summary of my morning:
Little did I know this morning that I would be filling out my will. In my very "exciting" Nursing Essentials class, we had a lecture on palliative care, wills, and death. Although ironic that a lecture on death was killing me, it got me thinking. Did I want to die knowing that my apartment never got to blog about our insanely awesome lives? NO!! To prevent my death and to also fulfill a long awaited dream, I started our blog. So as part of my last will and testament I ask that this blog continue on if I eventually die of boredom. Also Jen can have my shoes, Steph - my Akon memorabilia, and Erica - the memories of my tent dancing.
So there you have my answer as well as some of my morning. I hope you enjoy this blog and know that it will only get better when my three lovely roommates contribute to it!
